To hear Tom Cruise's voice in perfect Chinese surely will be a popular box office move.

An author can now translate their book into any language they want and have the audiobook generated in their own voice.
The only way to achieve that is to shut down the VOICE SQUATTING LISPERS.

With all the various versions of JC?  I am quite certain that the first three calls 'he' ever made were legit.  After that.. it's all Mel's Hole territory.

Mel's Hole was bunk but it was a lot of fun. Interesting conversation, you guys. Noory could never be taken over by Artificial Intelligence. Noory has plenty of the first requirement but zero of the second
“I'll try a pagan friend, thought I, since Christian kindness has proved but hollow courtesy.” - Herman Melville

If the Mel's hole thing was kept to the first two appearances (a Tuesday and Wednesday back in FEB 96) it would have been sooo much better and even more more believable in its own way.

It went way to far, and the amount of BS that piled up would have surely filled said imaginary hole. Art should have caught that and kept it mysterious with only a replays every few years. But no. They had to keep on going with new holes in Nevada and elsewhere.

An AI Dave would only need rudimentary programming.  3x5 card programming, middle school thesaurus and a complete Billy Mumy biography file.

You are too generous.

Yeah, he moved overseas at one point, wasn't that the story?
Eh, nevermind...

Australia. Then back to the US for more hole fakery. Got beat up on a bus, all kinds of shit. It became pathetic.

The elusive show of 8/23/2001

There is a segment and a half (hour and eleven minutes) of it floating around but the entire broadcast eludes me. If anyone finds the entire show please alert me to it. Guests are Richard C. Hoagland/Bishop Sean Manchester vampire Hunter

Happy Birthday, Art (an hour early, EDT).  Wherever you are.....  Miss you terribly.

Waiting for Art to fulfill his promise to contact us from wherever he is....

Yes. The birthday boy.

Listening now to a show from July 7, 2001. NIDS - Possible EMP Attack - Open Lines kicked off with Art talking about the MRI experience he had a day earlier.

SIT last night was from Art’s 50th birthday in 1995.  The network gave him a state of the Art laptop with an 11-inch screen and a 540MB hard drive.  I suspect Windows 3.11 as 95 didn’t come out until the fall.
Merry Christmas

Denfus?  Yeah it seems to be down. I used to record streams from there when a show I didn't have would come on. The originator was a Coastgabber back in the day.

Was that the site that you could search dates/filenames?

Eh, nevermind...
