Wow. I don’t know if I’ve ever actually seen The Hunger.
Is automatically erotic because Vampires?
@PolkaDot ...well THE HUNGER is a vampire movie.
With copulations for all genders. With the sensual triple threat of Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie & Susan Sarandon.

I am still not happy with your comment about Peter Murphy. How can you not love a singer who hangs upside down, like a bat for almost 9 minutes while singing at the Coachella in 2005.

I may have been very hungry at the time of writing that.
@ShayP offers up some fantastic sandwiches.

10 POINTS @ShayP !
This is a perfect ghost story. I still live in a small rowhome in a big city. I can picture the layout of your old home. Yes, the Aunties often come back to visit.
BTW "The Turn of the Screw" is a great read. I enjoyed the mystery. Was she crazy or not?

@FISH   I've never read The Turn of the Screw.  I thought I may have at least had it in my collection but I do not.  Speaking of things I do not have...a photo of the house I mentioned.  I swore I had one.  I was going to share it, but as you said, you can picture it.   ;)

@FISH  ...and... @Bart Ell   I can give you many reasons to not love a singer who does that.  I do not want to rant though.   ;) :-*

Ya know...I can't help myself sometimes.  If anybody hung upside down for that length of time while singing at fucking Coachella  ::)  I'd determine that the person was an absolute douche.

If I hung upside down and sang like that, I would expect to be shot full of arrows and dragged into the nearest stream and left to float, bloat, and rot.

WHEW!!!!!  That felt good!  :D

@PolkaDot  Is it worth it?  I heard it was based on the novel, Turn of the Screw.
I really enjoyed it. It's not really scary- more of a psychological thriller. Fun. I watched it alone in the dark and was OK.  ;)
I've never read Turn of the Screw but know the general plot and I would say "inspired by" not "based on".
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I love Susan Sarandon and David Bowie was a weird fucker so I'm in! I'm going to seek it out.

This one is for you, @FISH

In 2017 the devil visited me in a jail cell in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
One day I will tell the story but today is not that day.
Jail in Bulgaria? I threw what looked like a rock at some guy that was trying to steal equipment that I was responsible for.
Turns out the rock was part of the ruins and it is illegal to toss the ruins around.

A few months back @DaveScottSOR asked me if I had any woo stories so I told him this one.
I also told him I thought that amphitheater is full of woo.
Dave got sidetracked and tried to start some sort of perverted phone sex with me so I hung up.

A few weeks later Dave had Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal on SOR and Bumblefoot tells him a story about something messing with his equipment and pulling at his foot at a show.
It was the only time this has happened to Ron... so far.
It happened at the amphitheater in Plovdiv.
@Bart Ell was it a conjugal visit?

Every once in a while Coachella has someone you can't see very often that you'd love to, but who wants to pay $2K? Danny Elfman was supposed to play in 2020....
