My ISP is coming the end of the month to run fiber optic for internet and phone.  They say it will be 100 Mbps.  I am getting 5 Mbps right now. I wasn't so keen on it at first, but it isn't costing me anything more, and the more I look into it the more I am looking forward to it.
I have Centurylink and is the only one who serves my area. I get 5 mbps on a good day. Wish I could get faster.

Gee, isn't it how funny how ddd's views have changed. I distinctly recall ddd describing one of his detractors as being someone who could "only drive a truck for a living" as some sort of put down. Then he slobs Derek's knob. I've got news for you ddd, I can make what you get in SSDI in one day. Fuck off loser.

ddd curtly gets rid of Derek. I guess he doesn't have much use for the N-word.

Yup. Whatever it is, it's not a runway because they have buildings directly on each end of it. And it has to be miles long.
I think I figured out what this is.  It’s part of the White Sands Missile Range National Radar Cross Section Test Facility (NRTF).  The long strip appears to be the 8900 foot paved shadow plane range.  A close-up google look shows what looks to be a large fixture for holding test subjects.  It looks like a building with a test stand, resembling a very large stand like you’d have with a die cast scale airplane. ;)

Dr. Ding Dong!  I can see him gearing up and prowling around to really “get it on,” like this guy was doing last year.

@ItsOver: Thank you for the comments and photos. I have a few additional screenshots of the area using Google Earth and the "3D" function.

I believe this is not a "runway" whatsoever.  I assume you are referring to the large "cage-like" structure at the North end  :D

Your acronym "NRTF" is also the same used for a site I once guarded in the Phillippines in the early 1980s. "NRTF Capas, Tarlac" - (A US Naval Radio Transmitter Facility).

There are only three runways listed for White Sands and they are all dry lake beds: 17/35, 5/23, and 2/20.

This target has an area of approx 3.5 square miles.  The "runway" looking object is 8,600' feet long and 300' wide.

The area is tucked into flat terrain at the base of the San Andres Mtns and can likely be viewed from "Skillet Knob".

Yes, the long strip is not an aircraft runway, just a strip for allowing a clear scan of a pedestal mounted craft at the facility on the south end.  Zooming in on Google on the north end shows a cage-like structure with what looks to be a dish.

Regarding this Eric "Fingle-Dingle" asshole and Brazil:  How much money is Brazil getting in this latest COVID "relief package"?

Brazil:
Obligations: $21.31 Mllion
Dispursement: $24.47 Million

Something wrong with this hype.  Why the bio-suited grave-diggers with "grape-hoes" when they could just use a fucking back-hoe?

You’re welcome.  I’m glad he posted about this mystery and found it very interesting.

As to Doc Ding Ding, as I refer to him, he seems to get more “interested” in Covid when it’s something really morbid, the worse the better for him.  ::)  He has a controversial medical background, and from what I recall, especially in the area of infectious disease.
