It's going to rain here all week.  I don't mind it so much, but I need to prep the lawn tractor so I can roll the lawn and start mowing.  The truck needs a new ABS sensor and tires as well as an oil/lube and AC recharge for inspection.  So you know where my "stimulus" money is going...

Shit, I wish it would rain here. It's been weeks. We're about 2 inches below normal already when it comes to average rainfall. My lawns are brown.

The Maytag dishwasher door latch broke.  Can you believe the replacement is nearly 50.00?  I found one on eBay for 15.00.  I can't wait to get all the fixing done and settle into spring/summer.

Dogs go to the vet this Friday for shots and nail trimming.  That should be fun...We also have a brand new dog park nearby that I plan to take them once a week this year.  Lot's of little things to look forward to.

The hummingbirds will be here in a week or so, so I am prepared for them.  I am adding two new feeders this spring. And I am researching all about smoking jerky, sausage and fish and using my new Little Chief Smoker!  I may have to buy a vacuum sealer though.  It's pretty affordable once you have the tools.

I know the prices of meat and fish will be getting high, so I plan to learn how to preserve as much as I can.
