I listened to two of the new Abba songs and thought.. boy Art would love at least one of these two of them and play them.
I miss him.

I was hoping for less melancholy and more merriment. An opening with those two voices going at it. I love a lot of deeper Abba tracks, but these were real deep ones.

In addition to the Beatles Free as a Bird release, there was another comeback song that I was judging the Abba release against... Kome Kome Club, "Welcome 2." Energetic, full of happiness and celebration. Oh, wait, this is ABBA we're talking about...

The video is tied up in legal crap and Sony has it pulled whenever somebody posts it... Here's the song though:

Eh, nevermind...

It just hit me, one of ABBA may be seriously ill... The reunion has been brewing for a few years, but a great motivator could very well be one of them is bad off.

Cases in point, The Cars, Mick Ronson (working with Bowie again), Bowie and Tony Visconti (when Bowie was dying), The Zombies (their guitarist, who signed ABBA, was dying)...
Eh, nevermind...

When listening to classics I have always avoided shows that featured a guest on remote viewing but I must say that if you have access to it, 07 19 96 is a real showstopper. Definitely a classics, classic.

You can also listen to weekly Art Bell “Somewhere in Time” broadcasts on AM stations across the country, plus here.

https://tunein.com/radio/Somewhere-in-Time-with-Art-Bell-p986031/

For example, you can listen online to SIT on Saturday night, from 8:00 to midnight CST on KLVI.

https://klvi.iheart.com/

The C2C website shows the particular Art Bell Saturday show to be aired that Saturday, usually from 25 to 26 years ago.  It doesn’t usually update until late Thursday of that week.

Nothing wrong with that.  You're a simple guy and you're easily entertained. I expect nothing more from you. All good.   ;)

I've been thinking about this for a few days, surprised I didn't think of it earlier... About C2C's two main hosts.

How many times did Art Bell say "I served with the..." I mean, in conversation it occasionally came up, but he didn't repeat it over and over and over again.

Contrast and compare with our hyped-valor sNoory!
Eh, nevermind...

I can't remember which show it was but a British guest once, when reminded that the date was 9/11, suddenly and in a small burst said "oh, happy 9/11" -The dude seemed oblivious- This made for one of the most he most awkward and cringeworthy moments on the show ever. Art had to actually say something like 'well.. nobody really says it like that' yeesh!
