From the Library of Congress, 1920.

                What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

To tease or not to tease, that is the question, and it is worth ten points.  If you would like to give some advice to Fat Girl, and if it matches up with what Mrs. Thompson says, then you will get another ten points.

I happened to notice that 1920 was a leap year.  To save you from having to look it up, yes, 2020 is also a leap year.

Do not tease them back.

I understand that it is hurtful when one is teased.  Doing the same thing to them would not make you a better person.  I recommend ignoring them, or perhaps developing a sense of humor about it.  For instance if they call you fat again you could respond by saying "Oh, you noticed" and then give a laugh.   Be confident, as hard as it may be, and show them their words can't hurt you.

If the teasing becomes more frequent and cruel I suggest talking to your parents, teachers, friends, or even clergy.  There are people who will support you.

Dear Fattie,
In no way should you tease back. That would be uncaring and insensitive. The person developing the moustache, for instance, is probably transitioning. The person with the dark neck may be racially transitioning. It is good for you to share your feelings by crying.
Merry Christmas

Edgar LeRoy laCaze 11 Jan 2020.  Rest in Peace. Wonderful video/pictures to remember this man's life.

@Rikki Gins how did you find this tribute to Mr. LeRoy laCaze? I hope you don’t mind my asking.
While I am asking questions…what was the caption for the clipping from January 11th?
So many clever comments.

On a leap day, a man can’t refuse a woman’s plea to get married.

No, don't tease.  Take the high road and show them you are above that.

Don’t tease back.  Mutually Assured Destruction won’t be invented a few more decades.  Ask a doctor for advice on how to lose weight. You will be happier and healthier even if you just lose a little bit of weight.
Are we having fun yet?

We should have a bonus question worth 4x to cap off the month even though it will fall on a Saturday this year.
