Mrs. Thompson has received a letter from Anxious, first cousin to Worried Bill.

Dear Anxious,

I'm not sure what you meant by "showing him in some other way" but it's best to keep you panties pulled up tight. You should talk with him honestly and tell him how you feel. If there is more to your relationship then it will blossom from there.

Tell him how you feel and he might drop one. Show him how you feel and he might drop the rest of them.

You are 17 years old and still learning about boys. Sometimes boys merely “say” they love a girl and do nice things for a girl. He is twenty years old and smelling his own musk. Tell his how much you enjoy his friendship. Do not take over the conversation and do not become tiresome. Or else he will take your friendship for granted. Try to find out what interests this boy and talk to him about it. This will show him that you care about him as a person.  You are too young to get engaged. Stay in SCHOOL and find something that interest you. Become an interesting lady. Let time and true love do its work.

Mrs. Thompson is somewhat puzzled over Anxious doubting her beau's unfaithfulness.  As far as going with other girls, Anxious should believe it, only when she sees it.  (To illustrate, if it were me fooling around, Mrs. T. wouldn't believe it until she caught me at it, and small chance of that happening since I usually just visit her office when I cross the time barrier to old New York.)  She also told Anxious to be friendly to him, but she should not tell him that she loves him.  Wait until he asks about it.

1. Try to walk with her to and from school.
2. Carry her books.
3. Punch the first boy child in the nose that attempts to tease her. The rest will fall in line after they see all the blood.
4. Give her your dessert at lunch and maybe she’ll give you a smooch at recess.

@Rikki Gins I am curious, while you are crossing the time barrier, do you ever peek into Mrs. Thompson’s bathroom? You seem like a nice guy. However, men are men. Well at least they were a hundred years ago. Now we have Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual.

Dear RAFC,

You are going to have to be patient with her. It is hard to be teased by your friends.  Keep trying to talk with her and hopefully she will start to feel better about talking to you.

She sounds like a lunatic.
Forget the notes and ask her to be your lady.
Do it in front of the class.
Go big or go home.

Grade school you say!?

1.  You're too young to worry.   Conflicts will come and go, get use to it.  You might want to go back and play in sandbox for a few years first.
2.  Be a gentleman and speak to her about what you did and apologize
3. Stand up for yourself, tell your peers you're a young man and will kick anyone's ass that gives you trouble
4. Kiss up to her girl friends, if they like you, it will make this easier

Grade school! Too young to be a fellow. If you have a chance to speak to her you can say you're sorry you troubled her and you would not trouble her further. Then just go about your business and don't be anyone's fellow until later on.

You mean peek in the bathroom while Mrs. T is in her office typing, right?
I would guess that Rikki is allowed to even go in the bathroom and use the facilities!

Apologize for making her uncomfortable by telling everyone that you like her.  She may like you too but she's probably embarrassed. If she is still angry, give her time and I bet she'll come around.  Just be her friend.
