Note to self, don’t take a boat out in a place where the creatures lurking in the depths beneath you are big enough to capsize you.

Obvious fake cgi is literally obvious.

WTF markings on insect

Not sure if I should post these here, in UFO/Alien, or in Japanese Anime or Collectible Japanese Toys.  Dead Cicada but look at the markings? Seems too "perfect" for nature. Cryptological symbol? Sand-script? Japanese Letter? Alien? Weird looking.

Somebody grew this little fella, fed him honey and nightshade, kept him warm. Somebody loved him.

Assistant Good photos!  Nature is amazing.  Peacocks, macaws, moths, butterflies, bumble bees...  The moon yesterday, too.  And the whorls on guitars made from cut oak trees.  Sand dollars and seashells have amazing markings, too.  Tigers, zebras.

Nah, he is dead. Plenty of live ones I've seen, though NOTHING here like I've seen with the "17th Year Locusts" (really cicadas) on the East Coast. That was friggin crazy. I mean apocalyptic. Mountains of them. Dead ones everywhere. Trees full of their shell (really exoskelton after molding/emerging) etc. Crazy stuff.

Also the wasps that kill are scary. Yuuuge wasps. They don't bite humans (unless you are dumb enough to grab them.)

People fasten them onto their shirts like a broach. They are alive so they crawl around on their leash on your shirt. If you are going for the "I've completely lost my mind" look, these are available in Mexico.
