Being that this is the "ask" thread - did you ever have a train set as a kid?  I am currently installing a hanging track around my bar.

I like trains. And I like giraffes. If I can get some little giraffes into the 10" long boxcars, life would be absolutely grand as I would be the conductor! From HELL!

And shards of glass. The old lady who owned the house before we did buried her garbage in the back yard and for years hunks of glass would surface and stab our feet.

Yes, I had a basic Lionel set with a station and I think maybe a house or two?  Don't recall. I do recall that the locomotive came with some kind of pellet you put down the smokestack and it smoked while going around the track, very cool. And I think there was a button on the controller that you could press and it would toot the whistle. My memories of this are faint as I was very little. The trains were supposed to be for my older brother but I liked them much more than he did, so my Dad taught me how to play with them. The tracks were built on a big board in the basement that we could stand up against the wall when not using it. It was not a fancy set, very basic, but really fun.
