Puppies Behind Bars (PBB) trains prison inmates to raise service dogs for wounded war veterans and first responders, as well as explosive-detection canines for law enforcement. Puppies enter prison at the age of 8 weeks and live with their inmate puppy-raisers for approximately 24 months. As the puppies mature into well-loved, well-behaved dogs, their raisers learn what it means to contribute to society rather than take from it.

This sounds like a wonderful program for all involved. 

I spent a few years of my life having to put up with criminals.  I’m sure there are stories of how these idiots tried to make the puppies into criminals, too.  I’d love to hear them.

Puppies as criminals? You mean besides peeing on the rug and digging in the flower beds? Maybe criminally loveable

I don't pee on the rugs anymore. I'm better than puppies!

See? Even @KSM  can be trained with a sharp "No!" and a slap on the nose with a rolled up newspaper. What do people use now without newspapers? I assume Mrs. KSM uses a tazer
