I just learned that after Jim Morrison faked his death, he became Rush Limbaugh.

I'll just add that Morrison was born in Melbourne, Florida and Rush lived in Palm Beach - only about 100-miles away.

Jim's Dad was a naval officer who was involved with the Gulf of Tonkin incident.  A totally useless factoid.

He lived near the Clairemont Square shopping center in San Diego briefly, I hear... Up the hill from the Zappa family home, a short walks from Bob Taylor (Taylor Guitars) and the Deering home (Deering Banjos) and a bike ride from Mark Hamill's house.

Hi, Juan.  I lived in Topanga Canyon, CA. in the 70's,not Laurel Canyon.  Sorry I couldn't help.  :-[
