Waking from a great sleep and enjoying a nice breakfast and coffee with my wife while Sinatra's Sinatra plays in the background (it's a great album). This is usually in the summertime when we can spend a lot of time outside in the front or back yard. Great conversation as we plan the day that may or may not involve taking Vera to a water spot out of town for awhile.
Sometimes the conversation goes south and I'll spend the day trying to get things back on track. But that's another thread.............

I'm with ksm32 on the theme of breakfast. For me, a cool, sunny Sunday morning with a slight bit of fog, sitting on the porch with the newspaper and whatever breakfast I decide to make. Ideally, buckwheat pancakes, some scrambled eggs, sausage or peppered bacon (thick cut), and coffee. :) Then after breakfast maybe go to a yard sale or something like that, or just take a drive out in the country. 8)

My wife is trying to get me to a yard sale some early Saturday or Sunday morning. I'm going to finally try it on a morning that doesn't follow a gig night. Don't do well on four hours..
Drive out to the country is always a great afternoon, and the dog really appreciates it :)
