Bu, bu, but... Is it visible via Google Earth? They didn't say "sink hole" or "fracking," it must be a real honest-to-god hole.
Gauss readings? Radiation? Screams of hell? Prepubescent Thai soccer players?

Mel's supposed "hole" is, was in Washington state. This one is Greg's hole. There are a lot of Greg's in BC and all of them are huge ass, holes.

I remember the first time I heard Mel talking to Art and how entertaining his story was. As he got into it and began describing where he was, holy shit! it was right near where I grew up, and even closer to my college town.
I'd always take the canyon road back and forth, and good ol' Mel was supposedly calling from up on top of the ridge on the west side of the canyon.

No, I'd moved to California by then. I'm not sure what's up on that ridge and further out, it's high desert so maybe a few roads going up to whatever farms there are. It's a big enough area that it would be hard to find Mel's place (assuming he really lived up there) without more information. You can see how bleak the whole area is on Google Earth - check the Canyon Road (Hwy 821) between Yakima and Ellensburg
Plus, it's nothing more than a good story - there is no 'hole' anything like what was described.

Photos were posted on an special forum dedicated to the quest.

I don't have the files i copied then.
An documentary about the hole was made by students at CWSC and supposedly archived in the state film library for all state colleges an the state web system library.
An diligent researcher could locate this.
