@KSM32
My home was built in the late 1800’s. My home is made from stones, wood, concrete, plaster and some nails. Only wet walls no dry walls.
My front room has a fireplace mantel.  My floors are made from wood. I have two layers of wood. 1st layer is old wide blank pine wood flooring. 2nd layer is the ‘cool’ "Hardwood Floor Inlays" look.  8)
A quick answer -- preferred direction to lay wood floors because it provides the best result aesthetically. In most homes, this means running the planks lengthwise straight away from your front door all the way to the back.
I drew out the look for my flooring. Light colored wood with a dark walnut inlay.

I appreciate the input and you taking the time to draw it out.  :)

I know all about the normal ways things are done when it comes to this situation as it is what I've done since 06. Should the seller accept our offer we have settled on a ceramic tile border around the hearth where I will then install the wood in the direction toward the lake. It is my wife that wanted to run the planking left to right but she has since uncharacteristically relented, or relaxed on that.  :o  Good thing too, I was planning a "secret garden" out there.. but I'll put that on ice.  For now   8)

While replying, I hit the "Post" button and the board takes me back out to the home page.  Is there a setting that will allow me to return to the point in the thread from which I came, rather than having to back up a couple of steps with my browser?

I believe he blames Tommy a lot more than Noory. He feels that Tommy thought we was encroaching on being Noorys yes man.

They seem pretty interchangeable so Tommy was right to worry.

Senda couldn't do one minute of content per month.  One. Minute.

What on earth happened to him?  He was a renaissance man at one time.  Now, he's a feckless retard that can't gin up ONE MINUTE of usable content PER MONTH.

That said, I hope that he relents and tells us about The Dark Times when he worked as a male prostitute.  That story needs to be told.
