From the Library of Congress, 1919.

                                                What Will Mrs. Thompson Say?

Oh what is A Wifey to do?  You will get a point if you hand out the correct advice.

Why does it make him angry?  Are you going out and spending money you cannot afford?  Are you neglecting your household in order to pimp and prepare and attend these shows?  Are you coming home smelling of cheap gin, cigars and Old Spice? Do you go to the department store thenext day and update your entire wardrobe to match the oeading lady?  You need to understand what it is that makes your husband angry.

And then you should try and find a compromise. He may have justification for his anger. It’s not like you have the right to vote yet.

I'm tired. I am just so tired. I don't sleep through the night anymore. I'd come here because it was fun but it doesn't feel as much fun anymore. This thread is fun. I think I'll stay here. I have a pile of stuff to get through and maybe once I can be done with work I'll feel better. I don't feel good.

Mrs Walks is right. Please be careful and take care of yourself.

Dear anniem.  I wish I could take you back to 1919 with me.  There is a totally comfortable couch in Mrs. Thompson's office and I have caught some wonderful zzzzs on it, with nothing but the gentle tapping of Elizabeth's typewriter in the background, and a hypnotic rhythm of traffic sounds on the streets far below.  Feel free to take to that couch, the next time you try to grab some sleep.

All the cool kids are on Instagram...

I thought they were all on Tumbler, which Yahoo just sold for a whopping $4 million after paying what? a billion something for it a few years ago? Good business deal, eh?

Yeah, I can understand completely.  Sleep shouldn't be a chore but sometimes it seems that way.   Hope things turn around and you get some rest.

My pity party is over now.  Sorry Rix.   :-[

No problem Walks.  Let this thread be a sanctuary to briefly escape life's little (and big) woes.  Feel free to talk about anything here.

@Mr Apnea that sounds fantastic. I'm also a big fan of horseradish sauce on steak.

Growing up on A1 and 57, I've learned to move on to better things   ;D

Knowing him, he’d just dump yogurt on it. The guy puts it on everything. Yes literally, EVERYTHING.

Yes, and its a good lube too!
