I think crop circles are just teenage Aliens that got mom and dads saucer for the night and are writing  graffiti in farmers fields. :)

Perhaps even though they have been studying us for decades with their advanced technology, when they landed under the cover of darkness to collect cows they enjoy the simple pleasure of operating a push style lawn mower and get out to stretch the legs before heading back to planet X.
