Try a 4 or 8-Corner with pepperoni and mushrooms sometime. Bring your wallet though...definitely costs a ton more than a Sleazers Hot-N-Ready.

What do you want to eat in Philadelphia? Do you want a pizza? If you are a local, you go to South Philly. If you want pierogi you go to Port Richmond. You go to Chinatown for Chinese food. If you have no idea of what you are doing you buy a pizza from a chain shop. Or if you live in a humble area, you order food from chain shop. PAPA JOHN’S PIZZA is one of those shops ‘in that neighborhood.’

Not snobby at all.  Most of the best pizzas I've ever eaten are from the "mom & pop shops."  They are pricey too.  It's worth it.  There's a place very close to me that has the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life.  It is pricey but I don't care.  All fresh ingredients.  The dough is superb.  You can smell the yeast as soon as you open the box and take a bite.  But alas, due to my diet, eating that is a rare occasion.

To me, mushrooms are good if they are fresh and not the canned stuff.  I still can't do pineapple.

Ah man no doubt! The big ingredient debate in my house is tomatoes. I like them, most don't think it's nessessary because there's already tomato sauce so they think it's overkill.
