Happy American Thanksgiving

Being this is a Thanksgiving Day thread I really must say that I enjoy all of our interactions and ball busting.  I mean that.  Thankfully.

On a side note not relative to this thread, I am not Greg.  So, let's put an end to that.  I would appreciate it.  But, since I brought it up I'll probably be Greg in perpetuity.  I am my own worst enemy.

@KSM Mine was low key and pleasant.  Overcomplicated the dishes as usual, but thankfully not much leftover.  I barely ate a thing.  I rarely do during the holidays.  It's weird.  I hate eating my own cooking, but as long as others like it I'm happy.  Maybe 'hate' is too strong.  I just don't like eating my own food.  I'm strange that way.  It's more like I want it to look and taste great.  I just want other people to like it, then I'm satisfied.

I can't tell you the last time someone cooked for me during the holidays.    If I went to someone else's home for a holiday meal I would happily eat everything presented to me and go into a food coma.

I can understand the not wanting to eat your own food to a degree, but good is good and you gotta eat!  A burrito..  Well it sounds like it went well with zero yelling. Good.

I went out for sashimi and a 14 oz prime rib with all the fixins.  The fish was so damn fresh it was wiggling. By God it was divine. The beef was ooot o' this worrrld.  You would have cleaned the plate and then ate the plate.

I cooked the usual Thanksgiving dinner. Came out excellent if I do say so myself. I've done it enough times now I could do it in my sleep. Topped it off with my perfect homemade pumpkin pie and 2 1/2 glasses of champagne. And watched that wonderful traditional Thanksgiving movie Young Frankenstein. I've seen that movie countless times and I still laugh my ass off. I start laughing in anticipation of the next line at the beginning of the scene. An evening to be thankful for

Had a White Shoe Boy physically come to my house this evening over some work stuff.  It being Thanksgiving and all, I committed the sin of not turning on my work lapper and I don't live my life around  a damn cell phone. They want me to work tonight helping some Seoul Sister in Korea install some stuff that she is struggling with. Mrs. WAN wanted our family to play some board games tonight. The way it is looking, the company might ditch me in December so I told the White Shoe Boy to go F-himself.  Probably will regret it but for now - feels good man.

Whoa. @Walks_At_Night . Good for you, I guess. Are you direct or contract? You know who did have the rotten night, White Shoe Boy. He's the one who had to go out in the freezing rain (humor me) just as everyone was sitting down to dinner. Had to settle for a turkey sandwich and a beer and analysis of the Dallas fight when he got home. Middle Management sucks. Ha ha ha

I'm a regular employee there have been for over 30 years. I've seen alot of strange stuff in that time but this right up there with the time I walked into the Men's Room and found a tooth lying by the sink.  Unfortunately it was a nice, albeit crisp day.  These guys have been pushing their luck as of late.
