@Sofia . Maybe it was a dog wolf hybrid. My friend who lived in Colorado Springs told me having those hybrids was somewhat of a status symbol there. But when the doggie was too much wolfie they would get rid of them. She took me to a wolf sanctuary outside the Springs - which was an utterly cool experience - and half the animals were wolf hybrids.
One time we went to a dog park in the city. There was a young hybrid there who kept catching and rolling the puppies and little dogs like prey. She didn't hurt any of them. I think that was her idea of "play". But I kept an eye on her the whole time we were there jic I had to rescue a puppy

Maybe. I inherited a Labrador-Silvertip wolf mix, a wonderful dog. He could be very fierce, but only if something or someone deserved it. He had not problem winning an unexpected fight with an American Bulldog, but he also had more experience. He was extremely smart, saving some food for later on purpose. And, sampling food very well before diving in. He just was very, very smart and yet he had a slightly wandering eye and a clownish smile. I miss him a lot. He passed away around 2013.
