Look, here is an analogy. Girl dates guy. She told him a couple of her sexual fantasies. He turned out to be a leering, groping, crass, insensitive, lowlife cad. She set "boundaries". He disrespected them. To be rid of him, she goes elsewhere and changes her story, to protect herself and her pride. Immature? I suppose. But cheap and easy for her, she who didn't know when to "report" or who to trust.
Proving he is a mobbing cad, he pursues her in the new group. Of course she denies her prior statements, like being aroused by oysters or having forbidden fantasies. Says she was only joking. Totally changed her story, knowing it would get back to him. Happens all the time.
Happens all the time. What she did is nothing worse than the practises of Human Resource departments and recruiters at companies with high attrition... Lying about actually having openings, lying about company growth, hiring even though they know layoffs will come soon, hiring during bankruptcies, promising as-needed occasional overtime but turning right around and requiring it daily for five years, down-sizing en masse without acknowledging it to any discharged employee or their families, hiring in the spring and laying off at Christmas, etc...
Her ploy was so overly obvious as to evoke sympathy, not scorn. A disgusting mob betrayed and hurt her so she made a mockery of the situation. Considering her generous forum contributions, I wouldn't worry about it. What do you contribute?
