''... Noory emphasizes his commitment to the theater of the mind...''

Anyone ever find out what he's doing instead of listening to what the guest has to say?

A friend told me semi-regular called Myette called in a few nights ago after having been MIA for a while. Apparently she said she was in a mental hospital.  Anyone else hear her, and if so did she provide a backstory on why she's institutionalized?

Nope buts it has been eons since I have listened to Coast.  Between the swarm of commercials and Noory's decline, I'd imagine it is a rough listen.

Ugh, this news is up today at the c2cam website:  :o

https://www.coasttocoastam.com/article/george-noory-to-receive-living-legend-award/
The Parapod Podcast Awards has named George Noory as the recipient of its 2026 Living Legend Award, recognizing his decades-long impact on overnight radio. Best known for hosting the nationally syndicated Coast to Coast AM, Noory took over the program from Art Bell in 2003 and has since expanded its reach to more than 600 stations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Guam while building a loyal audience around discussions of UFOs, the unexplained, and conspiracy topics. Organizers credited Noory with helping sustain and grow the genre's popularity through radio, podcasting, and digital platforms, making him one of the defining voices in late-night paranormal broadcasting.

It's all true.  Just not in a good way.

A living legend?  Maybe only his own mind!
He is legendary in how he destroyed Art Bell's great program...

''A person who has an extraordinary reputation or level of fame while they are still alive''.

So yes, if you believe he's a live being that's still alive.

sNoory has competition. Walter Sterling on WABC last night said that he couldn't understand why the WNBA had "broken up" college teammates Kate Martin and Caitlyn Clarke completely failing to understand how the draft works, ranted about the hantavirus ship docking in the Canary Islands which he thought was a US territory, and then raving about Taylor Swift and saying her boyfriend is an NFL quarterback.  Sterling seems well on the way to being a late night paranormal legend.
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.
