I know Brooks is alive because about every month he trends on twitter without explanation and you have a bunch of people saying "Don't scare me like that Twitter!!"
Mine is John Astin, I was certain he passed away years ago. I liked his guest role on a favorite show of mine Night Court, did the Riddler a couple of times in the old Batman series and of course Gomez Addams in the Addams family. That might have got in my head when Raul Julia (who played Gomez in the early 90s movies of Addams Family) died I might have just place Astin in that memory as well. I was really surprised and happy he's still with us.
In my head he's tied up with Marty Ingles (co-star on
I'm Dicken's, He's Fensger), so when Marty Ingles died I kept thinking John Astin had.
I usually find out these things when very old people do die after they'd been out of the public eye for a long time. Like when Mike Gravel just died, I was surprised to realize he hadn't years earlier.
I keep thinking Peter Falk died, but I see him posting here all the time. Keep running in a serpentine manner and you'll keep dodging those bullets.
