Not in the least. My kids wanted to go to Japan independent of the Olympics and Japan cracked down on travel. Fucked our summer up royally.

I used to love the Olympics.  Lost interest (for whatever reason) in the 90's.  I couldn't care less.

2008 was a good one...  I was staying in a Southern Nevada hotel and a Chinese employee was quite proud of her motherland and wanted to share her excitement.

Beautiful scenery on that coverage.

The clinched fist protesters of 1968 and the cheating basketball referees of 1972 pretty much did it for me.  The hockey team in 1980 revived interest, but it’s been downhill since.  I don’t think I’ve watched an event in 20-years.

Skateboarding is an Olympic sport now. You just find it boring because Canada wins very few medals in the Summer Olympics. I heard the Olympic Committee once again denied Canada's request for Wood Chopping, Moose Wrestling and Labatt drinking to be added as competitive sports

Cheer up. It's July 25. Christmas in July. Cook yourself up a big ole turkey while you watch the snow finally melt instead of having to watch the stupid Olympics. It would be so much better with Moose Wrestling
