I don't know if this is stand alone topic-worthy, but I really dig it/groove to it when someone's name is coincidentally (or not?) linked to their profession or hobby.

That guy, Roger Teeter, who pushes inversion therapy by using his invention, which is, well, a teeter-totter.

I just think it's cool.

Or when someone uses their name in a play on words...

Like The Art of Talk by Art Bell. The more you analyze that one, the stronger it becomes.

Lots of people think that Thomas Crapper invented the toilet, but sadly, he didn't.  He did however, invent the ballcock, the most important part of modern day toilets.  Lucky him, the name stuck.

A common version of this story is that American servicemen stationed in England during World War I saw his name on cisterns and used it as army slang, i.e. "I'm going to the crapper"

At first I thought I would tell the class of my Teeter inversion table. I also have the gravity boots that I use to independently hang from my chin-up bar. The table cost 100's of dollars but the boots well under 100. I shall not announce that.

I had one of the older models. Way back in 1994. I used the hell out of it. I could swing it completely vertical, allowing the gurney tray to "lock" past the 180 degree mark behind me, while I hung upside  down straight as Grandpa sleeping in the Munsters.  Then do vertical set ups/crunches. The modern models look better designed for the body. I remember when Richard Gere introduced inversion boots to the masses via American Gigolo.

YES. The abdominal exercises one can do while up there. I do those. I also jade roll my face while hanging and then onto the scalp massage.  If we watch Star Trek 6, The Undiscovered Country ~ we are reminded that the culprits who transported aboard wore gravity boots of another sort as they went about their dastardly deeds.
