Wow, two things "jump out" at me.

1. They're moving at a pretty good clip.
2. The hood your truck is super clean - no melt to worry about?

Great video, tnx for sharing. ;)

Thanks! I was surprised at the speed. Anywhere from 40 - 60 kph if I recall. Too cold for any melt.

Did you ever watch Ice Road Truckers?

I watched it a lot to see Lisa!

I had a Middle Eastern friend in college that told me driving on sand is much deadlier than driving on ice.

Yeah, you'll dig right in. Those emergency ramps for runaway trucks? Sand.

Same shit, different shovel?  ;D  But seriously, I really don't remember. I work for for the federal government and drive many different vehicles to remote northern nursing stations only accessible by winter roads. Ford, Dodge, GM & Chevy. Probably whichever is the cheaper model of the two, the government doesn't like to spend too much money. Very peaceful when you're in the middle of nowhere. I like to stop night, -40 deg celsius, turn off the engine and take a walk. Dead silence, not a soul around, no birds, no insects, nothing.

Their office (Polar Industries) is just down the road from my house, 10 minutes away. I missed the crew & Lisa filming in a community I drove to by one day. Most (but not all) of the drama when they travel over ice is just straight up made for TV drama bullshit.

Alex was my favorite. Love his humor and his love for his family. I think I was hooked on the first episode where they were taking urine tests at the company and he joked that he was too old and nothing comes out but wind.

Every once in a while but I have noooo desire to do that! Do you know what I was thinking about doing? They need truck drivers in the Middle East to drive in those convoys.
It pays 250,000 a year and you can sign for three years. Also, if you die they provide 100,000 life insurance.
It's awful tempting sometimes...
My friend's husband has been doing that for years. He's there six weeks and home six weeks. They don't particularly get along so I'm pretty sure it's the reason they are still together.  :D

My contract would require daily access to wifi so that I could EllGab. Perhaps they could work out a ceasefire between 9pm and midnight eastern time? It never hurts to ask...

Yep, drama. I remember a few years back they had on a show about how these guys went around tracking down missing big rigs and I got a good chuckle out of that one!
Two tracking devices(at least): one attached to the ignition system, one installed as the infamous black box.
I knew that show wouldn't last!  😆😄😃

I am only donating if he stops in Indiana to pick up Curtis and they do live streaming especially in the truck stop parking lots.  And if we get a wife beater tshirt with a Mack bulldog humping a chihuahua.
