Dear Bartain

I want to find out more about this

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/canadian-elite-special-forces-sniper-sets-record-breaking-kill-shot-in-iraq/article35415651/

But I can't ask Carmolina. I'm not talking to her. And I will bitch slap her if she gets too close. So can you tell me more about this? At least you're a manly Canadian who understands these things

Not gonna read it as I have read enough words for today.
I did look at the @Carmolina graphic and got all I need to give you the best answer humanly possible-

Those countries that treat guns as weapons learn to shoot them as weapons.

The only people who fly Montreal to Vancouver are strippers.

I avoid the #WooFlu by washing with Borax twice a day.
Does that get the glitter off?
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

I'm going to guess no. There's always that ONE little speck that sticks around for much longer than it should...

I believe I mentioned March.
If not - March.
Thanks.  I saw something about a Tuesday so I didn't want to miss it if it was today.

I see your new avatar.  I remember the time George Noory was there on the air saying how he knew what burlesque dancers' costumes look like, as he began to describe them in detail.  I see they have gotten even more revealing than in years past.

I found it shocking.  If I understand this right, a Canadian enlisted soldier had to kill someone and did it from the furthest distance ever known.  Personally, it seemed creepy that such a tragedy is measured afterwards like a fitting for a  party dress, but that's just my opinion.

Hmmm. I have to admit, I was more focused on the skill involved. Especially by a Canadian

Gotta shoot the bad guys.

If you Yanko's had any skill other than movie making you may have at least beat the Brit on that list ;)  Face it - we're better shooters and don't have to make ridiculous movie aboot about it. Three!! different Cana's out of five! If it makes you feel better it was an American made BoomStick!

Canada liberated the Netherlands - but that was a mistake IMHO.

It wasn’t measured afterwards. It was measured prior to the shot.  That is how they knew exactly how high to aim. The sniper works with a spotter positioned right next to him. The spotter calls out the distance, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction and makes the computations required for how to adjust the scope.  The spotter verifies the kill or calls for another shot.  Sometimes it can take 5-7 shots to hit the target. The bullet gets there way before the sound does.

The sniper can’t even see a person at that distance.

I was reading about new fragmentation shells they are designing using a 3D printer that have a range of 311 miles
(500km)

Reach out and touch someone.  Rather spend a shell than endanger an aircrew.
