Found and have been listening to this recording of WLW's live coverage of JFK being assassinated.  Most of it is NBC network coverage.  There is something in this coverage I never heard before, however.  A reporter at the hospital where JFK was taken says a "Negro woman" brought in a bloody child who he thinks was hit by the gunfire during the assassination attempt. This is mentioned at least twice by the reporter.  Anyone ever heard of this? 

For those who want to listen to this, you can skip the local programmming to about the 36:00 mark where the local DJ first mentions, "....there might be something happening....yes there is...a bulletin just handed me...."

I've never heard that, but there was a man who received facial lacerations.  The Warren Commission decided that he had been hit by curb stone fragments from Oswald's shot that missed.

I've never heard of a bloody child. There supposedly was a guy that was standing by the overpass that had a bloody cheek from a cement chip - only blood from someone that I am aware of outside of the Lincoln.

I'm now about 4 hours into the live, NBC news broadcast of the then real-time coverage of the assassination of JFK.  They were reporting on three separate suspects.  The first was a man police gave foot chase through a railway yard, but he got away.  The second was a man arrested in Fort Worth who had driven there after the shooting.  The third was Oswald, but initially arrested (and reported as) for the shooting of the Dallas police officer, Tippett, only.
