Seriously, I thought that Canadian cable didn't have American networks because of the locally produced content requirements.
True, but only for the Canadian networks. NBC, ABC, CBS, and FOX ETC
are and were as they would be down here. No content rules for them. BTW on the Canadian networks there was also American and British content as well.
I thought the whole purpose of Canadian cable when it came in was to get the American networks? Isn't that so KSM?

@Smokin Hot Bob All I remember is that when we got (cable TV) we suddenly had all the aforementioned channels. That was 1979 when we moved to the city AFTER I MAY HAVE BURNED DOWN THE ENTIRE FARM! *Cough*
