Perhaps this is the appropriate place to leave this.
I have purchased a lot of really good coffee. Bags and bags of various beans and pre-ground. Darks, lights, mediums - Ethiopian, Sumerian, Peruvian, Guatemalan, Brazilian and others. I got a lot! Problem is that from time to time my ratios are still a bit off. Ground beans or pre-ground to proper ratio of water for optimal enjoyment.
It's like playing mad scientist in the kitchen every 3rd-4th morning and if it turns out too weak it's hard to fix whereas too strong is an obvious fix and easily remedied.
