Our family has made an annual pilgrimage to Estes Park the last few years to go to Bigfoot Days and do the 5k as a family. It’s pretty freaking fun. People take their bigfoot VERY seriously.  ;D

Also, apparently there was a Bigfoot show called Expedition Bigfoot that people were really into. The primatologist was pretty fun to listen to. https://mireyamayor.com/

And yes, they still bring up “that footage”. The debunked one. They say it’s a female at 6’1 which puts the males at 9ft. Also, there was a lot of cross over into orbs and aliens. “High Strangeness” was thrown around a lot.

10/10 totally recommend.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Did you see a geezer named Walt with size 14 feet?
Merry Christmas - Nice things, and posts, are nicer than nasty things.

@TigerLily While you are keeping and eye out for Cy Kendall movies, also keep an eye out towards the woods.  Apparently this thingy with a freaky telescoping neck is prowling whatever type of woods you have near S.D.

Sorry @Walks_At_Night  but there really are very few woods close to San Diego proper and fewer all the time with all the construction going on in the name of "affordable housing". You have to drive about two hours up to the mountains to find real woods anymore
But we do have our share of freaks and geeks and plastic surgeries gone wrong. They can be pretty scary. Especially Downtown or in Hillcrest. We also have a very cool Comic-Con in July where your weirdo would fit right in

Well that is a shame about the woods.  Same story here.  This rascal seems to do ok in a suburban environment though.
