Just because a person has a computer and a microphone doesn't make them a radio show host, just because someone wants to be a journalist doesn't make them one. I wasn't ripping Bloggers, I was poiting out to the segment of the audience that bitches that we just get a bunch of wing nuts with no credentials on the show that our guest has pretty impressive credentials.  I have spoken to journalists from both sides, believers and non-believers and have nothing against either. So not sure what point you might be trying to make. I don't mean that with disrespect, I am just saying I don't understand what you are getting at.

I am fine with people that have differing views and have never shied away from them on any of the programs I have hosted, I have interviewed Dr. Michael Shermer, Joe Nikels, Benjamin Radford, The Amazing Randi and others over 13 years and ALWAYS give them their due and a voice to my audience.

Again, I think you may be looking for a problem where there is none.  Listeners around the world complain about the quality of the guests background and that they are not objective and call themselves journalists, when in fact they have no pedigree, no journalistic integrity, etc.  So we had one on last night, I made to sure to point it out to the unsettled audience. That is all.

Dave, this is why you are the pro and I am just a housecat. Brilliant response. I have observed though that you and Michelle have done a great job in keeping the guest quality up.

When it comes to experiencers of phenomenology, the question of journalism thankfully does not enter into the picture. Its just one person's experience to be evaluated on its own merit.  With regard to Preston Dennett, I have no doubt he is traveling somewhere into the beyond and interpreting this all through his filters and language to convey that. I still want to check out the claim of voltages coming from his hands and this really can be verified with a store bought multi-meter and my concern still stands that he was reading continuity or resistance and not voltage. That doesn't invalidate his experience overall, just one interpretation of a specific experience.

While there are no coincidences and 11:11 pops up to the enlightened, I would like to point out that 11/12 is Charlie Manson's birthday.

There are no fucking coincidences!
Eh, nevermind...

You do kinda do that! Nice shout out!
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

My point basically is you do not need a credential to be a Journalist or anything else. I'll keep this simple.  I could ramble on about this for ever.

Is it bad that i was more distracted by the other guest and the phrase "sexually charged dreams" in the bio?

Bad form to quote yourself but here goes anyway.

"But Exile, you dumbass!!! Don't you want your Doctor to have that credential.?

Yeah it be nice. I admit that schooling can help but the person who diagnosed my condition had zero training in the field. Several MD's and specialists just passed on me, while a nurse practitioner was able to get me the help I need.

I will name names in private for verification but not here in public.

She had no credential to do what she did but she did it anyway.
