He has never been invited back to Philadelphia.
Why?
Because he played for the Penguins!

My high flying Nucks with their 2nd string goalie are loosing like lockjaw at a cock sucking convention. Just plummeting! from a stronghold on the pacific division to fighting for wildcard status :-\  :'(  I guess this is how @FISH must feel season after season..

As long as they make it to the playoff, anything is possible.
You have no idea how it feels, season after season. Last summer, I gave my huge Flyers’ flag away to a 10 year old boy. In the past I would fly my flag if my team made it to the playoffs.  I am excited to see the standing in the Eastern Conferences. However I know a how unpredictable a puck will move. I will NOT fly a Flyers Flag. I am too superstitious.

I am giving you the fist of hate.
Just for the record--The Flyers won their home debut in front of 7,812 fans, shutting out their in-state rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 19, 1967.

I lost a lot of interest in hockey that year. The Flyers got Lou Angotti that year after a promising start with the Blackhawks. He had probably his best year of his career. He went to Pittsburgh the next year before returning to Chicago for several more years.

I didn’t hate the Flyers quite as bad as I did the Blues. They got Glenn Hall.  The only game I got to see in person as a kid was in 66/67. The original 6 hockey was the best. I will never forget seeing the likes of the and Bobby And Dennis Hull, Stan Makita, Eric Nesteranko, Doug Jarrett, Pat Stapleton, Moose Vasko, Phil Esposito, Ed Van Imp, Pierre Pilote, Chico Maki, Doug Mohns and Kenny Wharram all skating on the same team. Without helmets. I got all of their autographs in the exit tunnel after the game. I still have that program packed away somewhere.  They weren’t very pretty, I remember that much.

@GravitySucks Sweet Baby Jesus, you are making me think back. No helmets and missing teeth.
I wanted to punch the Boston Bruins in the face. The Montreal Canadiens’ level of talent terrorized me.  I grew up with 3 brothers. My two younger brothers and I loved hockey. We were too broke to go to the games. We would listen to the NHL on the radio. If there was a snow storm, they would open the stadium doors. I loved the free snow storm games. Sometimes, we would buy 1 ticket and take turns going inside to watch the game. Of course each one of us wanted to get inside to watch the 3rd period.

FIST OF RAGE!

My one brother, who looks like a Viking invented the fist of hate. He would give the fist of hate to strangers. It was great fun to watch the reactions. My favorite reaction? The people who acted like they did not see the FIST of HATE.
