Before going to valentines dinner we stopped at an Irish pub that had the pens - caps game on.  This photo was taken minutes before games end as the caps timed out to scratch their little heads in hopes of that eureka moment that would save them from the 6-3 loss.

it was not to be.

PS  the two guys on the left were father and son from what I figure as the father was explaining to the son why he is not in the will and his sister IS!   Maybe the son was rooting for the caps?

NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly says Flyers to resume play on Thursday and.. remain on track for Lake Tahoe. :)
This year, Mardi Gras falls on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. AKA FAT TUESDAY.

Well...  it's not like I was in charge of selecting the channels on the TV's. That game just happened to be on but for what it's worth I was glad that the caps lost.

I really haven't been watching at home. At all. Ready for baseball.

@FISH - I was thinking of you! I made my husband take me out for hockey, beer, and pizza on Valentine's Day. We lost, and the game was a liiiiiiiittle slow, but it was still a fun evening.  :)

At this moment in time, I am thankful that I am not spending money to watch NHL games. My old stand by is the radio. Or I may watch a game on a free streaming site on a small screen.
