The other day while out for a Sunday drive a Randy Newman song came on the the S-XM radio. His voice! It is the worst sounding singing voice I have ever heard. It almost sounds like he has a mouthful of flour and water mixing in there. His phrasing, vocal stylings, and overall voice are simply gawd awful.

I am not all that familiar with him and his career but I know that in later years he sang a lot of 'cute' songs in movies like Toy Story and other kids films. perhaps because he naturally sounds like a cartoon character? Who knows..  :-\
