It was hyperthymestic syndrome, rather than eidetic memory. Unfortunately, it could make the month of November almost a literal living hell. Being banned from BG four times in successive Novembers (two of the bannings on the same day) was one of the least lethal outcomes that could be anticipated. It's better to remember his exceptional contributions to early BG history, and there were many, rather than his pitiful flameout(s). Ironically, EC was one of the first members of the original "secret" forum.
