It looked more like the production assistant… but sure, give the old rich guy the cred.
There was a little girl,
            Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
            When she was good,
            She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

The Beat Cowboys are eclectic and a new experience.

"Like a drunk lipstick-stained preacher pointing a Colt .45 at a gossiping jezebel the Beat Cowboys are a wild bunch of contrasts. Taking their name from the iconic Jack Kerouac's 'On The Road', the Beat Cowboys harvest their musical roots from country music's hardest cases and rock 'n roll's primal insurgents. This band was grown among southern New Mexico and west Texas backroads where the Chile and cotton fields drink from irrigation canals born of the sweat of ten thousand immigrant workers. When the day is done the signature 'ditch-billy' sound of the Beat Cowboys shakes the cooling soil of the Rio Grande Valley calling the workers to the party at the local beer joint. The earthy, crunch-driven alt-country sound leaves the poets, the punks, the rocker-girl and the two-steppin' rooster satisfied and dying for more of the Beat Cowboys."

When you gotta wear influences on your sleeve... Three Monkees references (bike, bird cage, her Napoleonic-ish hat...)

Catsongs was pretty entertaining. Hahaha!
Eh, nevermind...

I wanted to listen to Heatwave's Boogie Nights...

Holy shit...

A cursed band with murders, attempted murders, paralyzed singers, etc...

The keyboardist was Rod Temperton... Yeah, Michael Jackson's Rod Temperton...

Their bassist until 78/79 was Mario Mantese. He had been stabbed in the heart... but survived blind and mute.

He's now a spiritual guru.

Wow. Not surprised, not really new news.... Paul McCartney's voice has officially hit the old man on Family Guy phase. Wobbly and wavering, it is bad.

This was recorded yesterday...

Eh, nevermind...
