C- Recommended for extreme Ellgabbers, but not essential for casual Ellgabbers

The hosts (Mike and Denise) started the interview with two rather extraneous calls before finally calling Karen 15 minutes into the show. They then proceeded to ask the canned background questions and Karen proceeded to reiterate what she had said before on the Bartcast, including the reading of Airyn's note. The sound quality was poor with a constant repetitive churning noise in the background and it was clear the hosts did a minimum of show prep, although Denise caught on and synthesized the story well towards the end of the show. The bumper music choices included The Chase as opener and tasteful rock tunes, but unfortunately at low fidelity. Highlight & Spoiler Alert: Richard Groyper called in to asssk a question. (p. 2211 in the HW thread) The show ended in a whirlwind of confusion about the flying V guitar and a rumor that it belonged to Eric Clapton. The only thing Clapton-like about it was the fact that Layla the cat was sitting next to it! Karen Jackson was again admirable for appearing and setting the record straight. She is always a delight to hear.

There are several new tidbits from Karen that were previously unknown or speculated about:
1. Art was yelled at by the stalker on his doorstep; Art and Karen both knew who he was, but couldn't prove the stalker's identity.
2. Heather did indeed want to have the Sheriff visit Karen after the Bartcast
3. The Bell Estate still owns the "cuckshack" until Heather repays the note
4. No phones were ever repossessed. (We could see this from recently released pictures, but now confirmed)

as far as i know the TELOS equipment that linked art/heather to @KRowland  is what got taken. not the regular phone equipment.

Got to listen to a little KNYE right from the source while passing through Pahrump two weeks ago. Very broad range of music, not often you hear Vince Guaraldi on the radio.

Pahrump is an ugly town.

And I thought I had heard them all on KNYE - was it one of Guaraldi's well known Peanuts tunes such as "Linus and Lucy" or his famous jazz staple "Cast your fate to the Wind?"

Pahrump might not be everyone's taste, but there is something unique in the color of the desert sky there. I'm still drawn to the place, nothing to do with Art, but because the area reminds me of my starseed home planet

Pahrump is an ugly town.

I can only think the reason Art lived there was because he could be reasonably private. I can't imagine any other inducement because the place looks an absolute armpit. White Trash Central.

An update on the book Karen is writing on Art. "It's difficult because he was such a big part of my life." And she has kept a journal of all of Art's practical jokes.
