Not to take anything away from Hagler but Irecall watching the Hagler-Leonard fight in '87 and it was a hell of battle but Sugar Ray landed more flush punches.

After reading more about Hagler last night, I bet that was the fight where everybody was groaning after the decision. I read that it was a very controversial and I remember it being controversial at the moment it happened; not just looking back in history.

Sounds like he was a genuine nice guy, not full of himself. Shame he went so young.
