MTV News wiped form the servers.  40-years of pop culture gone.

Real musicians with opinions will be memory-holed. Revolutions will be forgotten and dissent will be erased.

He must have been vibing heavily. The oak ridge boys have been on my mind for a couple of days...

That's what happens when you watch a YouTube documentary on Johnny Cash.

I know an old person that went to see the Stones at the LA Coliseum in 1981 because he was afraid it might be his last chance to see them perform live.

Prince was an opening act and he got booed off the stage.

Russell Morash 88 - The showrunner for all those great PBS shows, This Old House, New Yankee Workshop, and I didn't know until just today, Last Chance Garage, Victory Garden and Julia Child.

He just did a walk-through video of the New Yankee workshop studio which is part of his house and, upon his death, they're showing extended cuts from that tour.

I've seen a couple of the episodes where he actually goes back to the pieces that were built on the show, like an Adirondack chair, showing their current state and how they've held up.

Shelley Duvall (1980's The Shining) dead at 75.

Yeah, she was a bit of a mess during the last interview I saw of her. She agreed to do it, drove to the interviewer and stayed in her car.  For a while, she had her shit together.

Out of all of the comic book movies, Popeye is the most incredible one to me. It took real acting instead of computer-aided fakery.
