I credit the 15 baht worth of coins I tossed in the well at the white temple with the intention of protecting all of my friends in Florida.
@GravitySucks you are baht-ing pretty well so far. It looks like my area will be somewhat spared, and northeast Florida may get tropical storm winds and potential flooding, quite serious, but not as totally devastating as previously predicted... if the storm stays its course. There is still a possibility it will veer east and go out to the Atlantic as the water gets colder as it goes more north. Hoping our friends in other parts of Florida are safe and well.
Right now the storm is a monster Cat 5, 185 mph winds, 15' seawall, crashing over the northern Bahamas (parts of which are only 33' above sea level anyway). Moving very slowly, very very bad for there. Many prayers are needed for sure.
