I think MV will delete the PMs before passing on the site.

The PMs are the only things I care about. I collected some contact info in there that I could really use.  Plus a few PMs from Art Bell that can’t be replaced.  Like the one saying I could have his ham radios if anything happened to him.

Have you tried contacting his widow and explaining that to her?

You can go to 10 different ones and get 10 very different values.

I don't think it's so much as Noory winning as everything else around him fell down..I don't see how he'd get any sense of satisfaction in either AB dying or BG closing.

I have layers of PMs which I now have lost access to, some are extremely sensitive and I cannot have my PMs sold to just anybody. I have been desperately contacting MV begging him to scrub my PMs if there is an outside sale. Whoever buys BellGab needs to be vetted. So this is what a Panic Attack is

167 users here right now. I think MV shot himself in the foot by taking the site down. Seriously, how much are those old posts really worth? You can always look them up on archive.org. The real appeal of bellgab is being able to post fresh content. And thanks to Bart Ell we have that back already. The value of bellgab is dropping by the second.

I would have liked to see him pass the torch (we all know how that works, lol) to someone else to run the site but it’s probably a decent starting price, from a negotiating standpoint, to start at. Shutting down the site probably isn’t the best idea if it’s really about the money. Given all of the history on it, I think people will miss their pm’s the most. I to had a brief exchange with Art on there from years ago that I would have liked to at least have a screen shot of. Then again I’ve been trying to get into my ancient old profile with no luck.
