I would make a suggestion to MV to turn on BG for a few days in perhaps some kind of Read-Only mode - to at least allow some to save some favorite posts. Like a BG Refugee Amnesty Day.

That would be a good question how big was BG as pure text and with all the pictures and attachments?
I would guess a few hundred MB as text - a few hundred gigs with pictures and attachments (minus the gabcasts and such)
