As fine of a job MV did at running BellGab let's remember it is the people who contributed to the forum that made it what it was.

If he were really selling the site then he did the stupidest thing in the world by shutting it down.

Some of us are interesting in taking it over, but we can longer reach each other with the site down. Also, if he really wanted to sell then he would respond to email questions and offers.

Gotta be an attention seeking ploy.

Do you think maybe since Art passed away, he could be considering it a collectible?  By the way, ten years was a long time for him to keep it up, as it was usually intelligent, a step up from other forums.  Maybe he is too busy feeling Libera-ted to read every email right now!

The Twitter account has also been deleted. I wonder if there was a domestic spat over the BBQ about bandwidth charges etc.It’s very sad and I am a bit worried for MV. I hope everything is ok.

His personal one was closed down when he called @jack’s mother a cunt but he had a new one he deleted late last night.
