It might be as simple as MV says, but he also always said, "Be careful what you post on Bellgab, I'm going to pay to keep it running forever."  Makes me think there's another layer or he's afraid someone will come after him if Heather gets trouble from it irl.  I have nothing sensitive there but I get people's concerns, and it would probably be best to factory reset the fucker (or the forum equivalent) before selling the domain.

As I've learned over the years just with art sales and all that, it's steep until somebody pays it, at which point it becomes exactly what it's worth.

That happened to me.  I had a house on the market, during the housing slump, but I took it off the market enough so the listing wouldn't look stale.  But over 3 years, I made good attempts to sell it low.  Never even got an offer.  In the 4th year, I just decided to raise the price by 30%.  Within a month, a deal was closed.  To local people.  For more than I ever dreamed.  Life is full of surprises.

Now that is a conspiracy theory that would be fun to explore. Were we all an experiment MV was hosting, even if it was on behalf of and backed by different people? Will the BG product be a white paper about group dynamics and leadership in an unregulated forum that interconnected with multiple media platforms? (i.e. 4chan, youtube (falkie, LNM), facebook, twitter, and numerous radio shows related and not related to the site proper.
To quote MV "The site to me is just scripts on a server." He did not have any interest in woo shows either, but did have a loose interest in the personalities that we followed on site.

That's a really intriguing theory given all the spying and data collection social media is engaged in.

Well Dave just between u and me, what is ur twist on things and ur opiniom on it all? Seemed like the entire deal has been very abrupt. Didn't sound like the guy from the last gabcast who always seemed to really enjoy himself, expect for supposedly sweating his balls off, can't believe he just woke up one day and said screw it.

MV, if something else is going on I believe there are a few and probably more peeps here that would help u if u needed any. Just think about it, forget the website...if YOU need something just say so. There are plenty of smart folks here from all walks of life who have maybe come to be a little fond of u, even though you hang up on us!
