I'm no expert, but I think Satanism has an androgynous or grotesque streak based on representations of Baphomet (which he appears to be wearing around his neck) with a goat's head, phallus, and female breasts.
Alternatively, it could just be a pattern of attention-seeking, involving things like, oh, displaying Kriegsmarine flags and worshipping the Devil.
What is funny is that it would be "punk rock," alternative, fuck the system, satanist, put it to the man,etc today in some areas to be some dude with a real education, career or just job, normal hair cut, a collar shirt (dare I say it maybe even a suit sometimes,) and family these days. Maybe, even, if really cutting edge, some church going- just for major holidays or major family events of course- and maybe, if really getting out there, softball or bowling league, or golf, and some beers for fun. Hell, go for it, maybe even the worst, stay-at-home mom!! That would be rebellion!!!
