This is very sad. I think one of the few things Heather did absolutely right was her kind treatment of Colby every time she rang in.

I agree. Heather was always very good to her on the air. Her poor daughter. :'(

I wonder how long it'll take for her to call him a vulture ... :-X

This follower has dared to ask a real question.

I saw this .. doubt it will end up staying on the page. Tony did mention to me that they were having a show meeting every Thursday and she was aware of all bookings, so she would have been aware.
Give pees a chance.

HW is "good" to most of her followers. Unless they don't agree 100% of the time with her. Poor old Smog did not like the way HW sang a song. HW was so mad at the Smog. I am starting to believe that HW has no feelings of affection for anyone other than herself.
Of course, condolences for her family.

After hearing of Kolby's death, I went to her Facebook page...

Sounds like there was a lot going on, her last public post was ominous.  I was under the impression her daughter was younger, but I saw a reference to a boyfriend, hopefully she's older and can take care of herself.

Edit: Her blog...

On the air, I agree. Off the air, she's perfectly willing to ghost them until she "needs" them again. :(

Can't she at least give top billing  to Kolby? I don't wanna nitpick but isn't it a given every show is dedicated to Art in her mind. I wish Kolby peace and healing for her family. Kolby never said a mean word to anyone that I've seen.

RIP. I'm unfamiliar with her and her, apparent, problems. Do any of Heather's regular listeners have regular or normal lives and living-conditions? From that blog you posted. An odd list of needed items.  WTF?

"Life is expensive.  A donation would be greatly appreciated.  $5.00 package will purchase a  container of coffee.  $10.00 package will purchase a bag of charcoal and a box of matches.  $25.00 package will buy 13-gallon trash bags, 24 cans of cat food, and a gallon of vinegar.  $50.00 package will buy long-nose lighters, sunflower seeds to bait traps, toilet paper, ziplock bags and more.  $100.00 package will buy 24 cans cat food, foil, sunflower seeds, toilet paper, nail clippers, and more.  $250.00 package will buy foil, cat litter, toilet paper, 30 gallon trash bags, dish sloap, kleenex and more."

Funny, I am listening to KFI this morning and the guest host, Mo Kelly, was going on about ghosting and how he won't tolerate it from anybody on his team...

Feeling fortunate in life, in spite of everything negative, when I see the struggles and scenarios others are going through.  Mine's a slow train coming... (Not the Dylan meaning.)
Eh, nevermind...

I fear many listeners put gifts for Heather above their own basic needs sometimes sadly.
