Yikes. That is quite a blast from the past, even though it hasn't even been a month.
Is this her natural accent and dialect? She has almost a folksy old-western type sound and begins dropping the g's from -ing suffixes. In a more relaxed setting would she say What’s buzzin', cuzzin' ? The "let's dance" is far more modern and "Let me tell you something, buddy, you don't know me." actually seems more East Coast than west.
She has used the phrase "drop a dime" several times. (The common price for a payphone in the 1960s) Oddly the phrase didn't pick up steam until the price had already went up to a quarter.
A new phrase I learned from her was "wall wart" (I had always known them as adapters.)
