Indeed. Someone that owns the rights should use technology for good and somehow CGI Raymond Burr etc and make new episodes of Perry Mason (in B&W, of course.) Instead of producing the crap that is tv now or making yet another dinosaur picture.
Excellent idea! Like the new Abba "concert" they themselves are producing which will be all-virtual. No live performers, just holographic moving images of themselves singing their songs. Not kidding, google it and see for yourselves.
Maybe a thousand years ago I saw Abba live early on in their popularity at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, and honestly they were great, the crowd loved them. The only problem was it was nearly blinding between their blonde hair, white sparkly costumes, and extra bright super-trouper spotlights.
But a virtual performance? Feh. That one time was enough. <g>
