So Art was getting sick of her and it would seem that he knew he had made a terrible error in judgement.
We now have two more people corroborating that Heater ghosted Airyn big time.
Airyn was aware of incidents with visitors to Heater’s property.

It’s all looking a bit untenable isn’t it?

I’m betting the next thing will be a book deal. How Art Bell taught me the biz, she will even have a “ghost” writer. I can so see this happening. She can make up all kinds of stuff.

What do you folks think of the "nightmare tenant theory?" I'm sure she was paying just fine, but thought that entitled her to act like the place should be maintained like a five star hotel.

If she put guests to work, I don't see how the Bells would have been treated any better once she felt secure about Art.  Can you imagine a hypothetical call at 6am "Art, it was so hot and muggy in here last night. Can you please come over and check the ceiling fan?"

Likely. but selling her the house wouldn't stop her poor me-ing. From what was posted earlier Art was catching on towards the end. But to what?  Her radio work was bad from the start, how would he only suddenly realize it? If you add in Karen's story how ahe took off and left them all hanging, perhaps it was her wackadoo ways he was finally catching on to.

Yes, it still would have been a desperate move on Art's part (probably out of pure exasperation) and at least isolate himself from needing to get into landlord/tenant law stuff and he didn't have the heart to be that harsh. Who would he turn to? Karen would probably have recommended evicting her at that point. So it was probably seen by him as an easy way out. That's probably why Karen was puzzled and shocked as to why he sold it.

I honestly always hope that our speculations and rumors are just that and based on our enjoyment of the rollercoaster drama. But it's sad when it actually gets confirmed.

I don’t think she’s fooling anyone about the phone service after 3 days. She must be off the rails again.

That normally is something that can be fixed and turned back on within the hour. Three phone lines would tend to be pretty expensive and frivolous. The current phone she has can hold up to 30 callers at once.
