I've only ever heard clips of the BartCast that got posted within message threads. But I think it sounded better and had a more engaging vibe than Host to Host.
I mostly wear wireless headphones and during Syrett's interview I had to reach up and switch my headphones off just long enough to shake off the enormous amounts of cringe coming from the host.
His style is not for me. Bless his cotton socks though.

Almost begs for a "Things you would understand only if you are a regular Ellgabber."
Some of these things translate into everyday life. People are wondering about why their relative:

Smiles or smerks whenever the name Bart is mentioned.
Gets somewhat nervous around the topic of pies or gets zealous on demanding how their pizza is cut.
Disappears every Sunday evening to listen to music and laugh.
Mentions being "pages behind."
Uses odd words like "I bought this when I discovered it in the clickacy."
Fills the desktop with folders of pictures of cats, otters, assorted gifs and soundclips of a strange sounding lady
Uses radio terms in everyday conversation. "I wish I had a dump button so I didn't have to listen to your crap."
Promises to smite their enemies.

This makes me happy - love it!

we did 128k last night, only cause i didnt change it down. i use 128k for SNT, as 128k is the minimum .mp3 format that is acceptable for a music oriented show.for a talk show with just bumpers 64k would be fine.
.there are others codecs (.aac for example) that can go to a much lower bitrate and still sound good, but .mp3 is ubiquitous and well supported by everything. the others, not so much.
